Reader Ride. Sweet Lambretta

Braam Nell from Brazil sends in this sweet little Lambretta.

He Writes:
I know I know I’m not bring the classic racer heat that you normally show on the site but Scooters are bikes too and here is my 62 Lambretta Li 150 Brazil Spec , which I have been spending some time on the last Year or so..She’s my commute to work 2 or three times a week , so runs beautifully!

Keep up the amazing inspiration, oh and I’m holding you fully responsible if I buy a Triumph Scrambler in the next 2 months!!

Ha! Sorry, I can't help you with that Triumph.   It's a mystery to me that I've held out this long.

Yamaha’s BW’s 125 arrives

Yesterday Yamaka UK announced the arrival of their new commuter 125 scooter, called the BW's 125.
Its powered by a 125cc, 4-stroke, fuel injected air-cooled engine with Electronic Fuel Injection. It has big, wide, all-terrain style 12 inch tyres and off road grade dual rear shock absorbers, which given the appauling state of Britain's pot-holed roads, will be most welcome!

The BW’s 125 is available in Avalanche White and Midnight Black.

Peugeot celebrates with new big wheel LXR 125 scooter

Peugeot has been in business for 200 years and for more than 100 years has been producing motorcycles. To celebrate its double century Peugeot will be launching several new models of scooter this year.

The first of these in the UK i is the big-wheel Peugeot LXR125 scooter.
Big wheel scooters a offer superior handling over poorly maintained surfaces and are easier to manoeuvre.

With the crumblingly state of the UK's roads after the recent winter snow and ice, Peugeot seem to have released this on the UK market at just the right time!!

As always we've some pics of this new Peugeot scooter for you.
